The initial
idea for AZHeads first came to fruition in September of 2001,
when I made a section for local upcoming concerts and links on
my personal webspace. I complemented that with the formation of
a group
discussion list hosted on Yahoo.
Slowly but surely the membership increased, and in January I redesigned
the website and added several new features. Then on March 8, 2002
I purchased the AZHeads.com domain name and moved AZHeads to its
current home.
AZHeads.com is hosted by SpiderWebGroup
and runs on a Linux server using Apache 1.3.22.
AZHeads.com was created (and is maintained) with Dreamweaver,
Fireworks,
Flash, Swish,
Photoshop,
and CuteFTP.
Testing is done in IE
6.0 and Mozilla
1.0 on Windows XP at 1280 x 1024 pixels.
Interactivity at AZHeads.com comes from the implementation of
several scripts based in CGI/Perl, PHP/mySQL, and JavaScript.
